Joel Michel

Pastor Joel Michel, a native Haiti, accepted Christ as his personal savior at the tender age of 15 years old. He is a humble and gifted servant of God whose unlimited desire is to bring the truth and the living word of God to the spiritually deprived world while defending the christian faith.

"When I considered so many people who are dying spiritually in their sins, and also so many false prophets announcing a false gospel, I felt compelled to preach the true Word of God and to also defend the Christian faith" Joel Michel 

Pastor Joel is currently a student at Trinity Theological Seminary in Indiana, and a candidate for a Doctorate in Religious Studies, He is a devoted husband to his lovely wife Marguerite Michel and father to his son, Jonathan Michel.

Pastor J. Michel has been called to preach the Gospel since 1977 while he was a teanager in Haiti and has been ministering the good word of God for 48 years.  He is currently the Senior Pastor at French Speaking Baptist Church, leading God's flock for over 21 years at FSBC.

As a man who loves God, the word of God, Pastor Joel enjoys preaching and teaching the good word unapologetically with boldness, power, conviction and simplicity at every arised opportunity. "When the Lord takes pleasure in anyone's way, He causes their enemies to make peace with them." Proverbs 16:7 His sole purpose is to devote his life to Jesus Christ and humble himself. 

My whole being echoes Timonth's testimony as he stated: "I am grateful to Christ Jesus, our Lord who has strengthened me, because he judged me faithful and appointed me to His service" 1 Timothy.  "I am thankful that the Lord has judged me faithful and appointed me to this beautiful and wonderful ministry.  I feel blessed and honored to serve my Lord".
