Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti on November 3, 1952, Pastor Morton has been a servant of God since April 25, 1970, when he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior. He first went to school to study Civil Engineering and earned his degree at L'Institut Superieur Technique D'Haiti.
However, witnessing his mother's dedication and service to God, Pastor Morton decided to follow God as well. He studied and received a degree in Theology at the Seminare Theologique de Bollos Haiti and L'Institut Biblique Evangelique de New York. He has been married to his beautiful wife, Maude Francois for 37 years and has 3 children and 2 grand-children. At home, you could often find him watching sports, particularly basketball, meditating his Bible, or reading a book.
Morton Francois is the Senior Pastor of the Haitian Community Baptist Church in Bronx, NY and serves as the Associate Pastor at the French Speaking Baptist Church in Spring Valley, NY. Pastor Morton is widely known for his effective ways of teaching and humorous illustrations.
Mr. Morton is a dynamic pre-marital and marriage counselor and has led many couples' seminars.Pastor Morton is the recipient of many awards, including the Certificate of Achievement for Services rendered to Rockland County given by the County Legislator. Nonetheless, for Pastor Morton, the highlight of serving God is hearing testimonies of how God used him to positively influence the life of others.
